Does the generator print treble or bass clefs?
No. It deliberately prints blank lines without clefs, key signatures, or time signatures. This keeps the five-line and paired layouts usable for different instruments and theory exercises. Add the required symbols after printing.
How many staves fit on one page?
Roomy, regular, and compact density give 6, 8, or 10 single staves. Paired mode gives 3, 4, or 5 two-staff systems. Guitar tab gives 6, 8, or 10 six-line systems. Those counts are fixed so the PDF can reserve predictable writing room.
What do the optional measure guides mean?
They divide each system into four equal-width regions. They do not choose a meter, beat count, pickup, or bar duration. Use them as light placement guides or leave them off and draw bar lines where the music requires them.
Does guitar tab support alternate tunings?
The optional labels show only e, B, G, D, A, E for common six-string standard tuning. The six lines themselves are unlabeled when the option is off, so alternate tunings can be written by hand without the generator making a false assumption.
Can I make both Letter and A4 manuscript paper?
Yes. The PDF is generated directly at the selected Letter or A4 dimensions and can use portrait or landscape orientation. Match that size in the print dialog and use Actual size when physical staff spacing matters.
Are multiple pages different?
No. Page count creates repeated copies of the same blank configuration, up to 12 pages in one PDF. It is intended for a blank manuscript pad, exercise packet, or several drafts, not for automatically composed music.
